About TestSignal
TestSignal is a focused JUnit XML report viewer and run comparator. It helps developers and QA engineers understand test output without installing a report server, creating an account, or uploading private logs.
What it is designed to do
The tool turns raw JUnit XML into an inspectable report and compares a trusted baseline with a current run. It prioritizes new failures, fixed tests, missing tests, status changes, and meaningful duration regressions.
How decisions are made
Conclusions come from deterministic parsing and comparison rules that are visible in the interface. TestSignal does not label a test as flaky from two runs or make unsupported claims about private failure text.
Compatibility approach
JUnit XML has no single universally followed schema. The parser is tested with realistic fixtures for common Surefire, Gradle/JUnit, pytest, nested-suite, multi-file, Unicode, malformed, duplicate-identity, and summary-mismatch cases.
Business and editorial independence
TestSignal may display advertising or offer additional paid capabilities in the future. Advertising does not change parsing results, comparison rules, or the technical guidance published on this site.
